Admin Officer

Based in Fyshwick, our team requires a person to provide a range of Administrative services.
- Scheduling our technical staff, using our scheduling software
- Triaging service tickets in our Ticket software
- Checking electronic timesheets, time entry and time billing
- Accounts Receivable and Payable in our Accounts software (Quickbooks)
- Checking supplier and customer orders, deliveries, working within our Inventory system
- General office admin tasks

Essential
- Experience in PC use and standard MS Office software (Word, Excel)
- Experience in small business accounting software (preferrably Quickbooks)
- Ability to work with others in a team in a cooperative, constructive manner
- Ability to learn and adapt to changes in the workplace
Desirable
- Experience coordinating time for a technical team
- General knowledge of IT systems, Microsoft & other software, IT jargon
- Experience dealing with suppliers, web base ordering systems, Inventory systems
IT Technician, Level 2

Background
The successful applicant will be required to perform remote and onsite technical work for our Customers in Canberra and the Region. We provide phone support, remote control support and various onsite tasks. We use the latest IT Management tools and techniques. Our work covers traditional IT (servers, workstations, routers), ad-hoc software development, telephony, outdoor equipment installation (tower installation/maintenance work, building to building links using laser and microwave radio) and some cabling. We believe in offering a
fulfilling technical environment to staff, rather than sticking people with one job or task.
Essential
- Experience supporting Windows Server and Workstation systems
- Experience supporting Windows domain environments
- Experience working with an identity/authentication Directory (eg: LDAP, eDirectory, Active Directory)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of Internet infrastructure: DNS, DHCP, IP, filtering
- Ability to be self-taught
- Experience with PC hardware
- Drivers licence (car), own car (car allowance provided)
- Be able to be on-call for rostered/occasional support out of business hours (1-2 calls per week typically)
Desirable (training will be provided if required)
- Familiarity with Linux and Samba
- Scripting/minor programming skills, VBS, VB, VBA, Perl, Bash
- Ability to work with tools including power tools and measuring equipment
- Ability to work at heights and to learn safe height work techniques
- Familiarity with Database technologies
- ACA Open Cabling Certification, Structured Cabling Endorsement
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Communications technology experience
- Experience with electronics (hobby level and above)
